What is a needling skin treatment?
Skin needling is a procedure that involves using a Skin Roller (a device which causes multiple microscopic puncture wounds to the dermis), causing the body’s natural wound healing response to stimulate collagen and elastin production. There are different sizes of Skin Roller which are suited for skin needling at home and larger and finer skin rollers for skin needling by professionally trained beauty therapists.
Can my skin types use needling skin treatment?

Is skin needling for everyone?
No, there are some skins that skin needling is not suitable for. If you have used Roaccutane, or Retin-A/Retrieve in the last 12 months, are pregnant or breast feeding, have keloid scars, bruising, open skin or using certain forms of medication then your skin may not be suitable for skin needling. Your skin therapist will be able to provide more information if required.
How many needling skin treatments will I need?
We recommend you start with four skin needling treatments and the number of treatments required after the initial four will depend on the individual’s response. Skin needling Treatments should be 4-8 weeks apart.
